Each semester, the Global Strategy Institute employs a team of talented research interns to contribute to the various initiatives of the Institute. GSI interns represent a broad range of students—undergraduates, advanced students, and recent graduates from universities spanning the globe—who are interested in researching long-range global trends.
Interns are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and are encouraged to participate in CSIS programming like the Abshire Inamori Leadership Academy's leadership training curriculum. Interns contribute significantly to our Blog as well as other spot research projects and GSI events. To be eligible for an internship at CSIS, applicants must meet the following requirements.
- Must be at least a college junior in good standing, an advanced student, or a recent graduate.
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent if from an institution outside the United States.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
